Launch of Network of Schools of Public Health in India (NSPHI) 

The Network of Schools of Public Health in India (NSPHI) was launched in December 2025 in New Delhi, bringing together leading institutions offering MPH programs to strengthen collaboration in public health education, research, and practice. Established as an All-India registered society, the network will promote shared governance, ethics, and evidence-based decision-making while fostering collective action through Communities of Practice.

Key priorities include developing a national competency framework for MPH graduates, strengthening competency-based and field-oriented training, improving linkages between education and health systems, and advancing collaborative research. Major initiatives such as a Public Health Hackathon, Masterclass Series, MPH textbook development, climate-focused Environmental and Occupational Health training, and digital learning expansion were approved, with the overall goal of building a skilled and contextually relevant public health workforce for India.
