On 26 August 2026, Prof. Preeti Negandhi represented the JSW Centre for Climate Change and Health, PHFI, at a discussion on Collaborative Solutions for Climate and Health. The convening brought together representatives from the WHO Regional Office for South-East Asia(WHO SEARO), M. S. Swaminathan Research Foundation, Institute of Philanthropy, Temasek Foundation, and The Rockefeller
Foundation.

The JSW Centre for Climate Change and Health, Public Health Foundation of India, participated in the World Health Summit expert meeting on Climate and Wellbeing on 23rd and 24th August. The Centre served as a knowledge partner at the event.

We are delighted to announce the signing of an MoU between the JSW Centre for Climate Change and Health, Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) and the United Nations University – IIGH. This partnership was formalized in the presence of Prof. Sanjay Zodpey, President, PHFI, and Dr. Revati Phalkey, Director, UNU-IIGH.

The CRHFI workshop, held on 02 December 2025, brought together multidisciplinary experts to develop strategies and policy recommendations for strengthening the climate resilience of healthcare infrastructure in India against climate-related hazards such as extreme heat, floods, landslides, wildfires, and droughts.
