Roundtable and Launch of JSW CCCH

The roundtable held on 23 July 2025, convened key stakeholders, including researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and civil society actors, to deepen understanding of the health impacts of climate change, share emerging evidence, and identify actionable policy priorities. The event also marked the launch of the JSW Centre for Climate Change and Health (JSW CCCH). Participants were divided into four groups focusing on: heat and health, climate-resilient health facilities, air pollution, and capacity building in climate change and health. Each group deliberated on its thematic area to generate evidence-based, affordable solutions and recommendations, covering networks and partnerships, research opportunities, capacity building, technical assistance, advocacy and policy strategies, alignment with the National Programme on Climate Change and Human Health (NPCCHH), and fundraising opportunities.
